Hi there,
just wondering if anyone has managed to get caller ID working for incoming calls, coming in via BT analog lines to embedded analog ports of a Mitel 3300?
running CX version II with version 5.0 PR1 (11.0.0.105_1)
CLIP (caller ID presentation) is supposedly enabled on the analog line
we have these (and others) on:
Display ANI / ISDN calling number only = yes
Display ANI / DNIS / ISDN called /calling number = yes
for both the phone COS and the analog trunk COS
System Options has:
UK only - Standard for CLIP: BT
Online help seems to be missing that system option now, but it used to say:
"BT CLIP is supported on peripheral cabinets only"
suggesting it wouldn't work on embedded analog....
but Jakt99 has it working on embedded ports:
although not in the UK
have tried enabling, individually and together:
ANI/DNIS/ISDN Number Delivery Trunk
in the COS of the analog trunk
and:
CLASS Trunk in the 'CO Trunk Circuit Descriptor'
the calls are going to a phone (5340) which shows CLI for ISDN/SIP calls (so think the phone COS is ok)
having either:
ANI/DNIS/ISDN Number Delivery Trunk
or:
CLASS Trunk in the 'CO Trunk Circuit Descriptor'
causes the Mitel phone not to starting ringing until 4-6 rings after the caller begins ringing
thanks for any tips
