CLI from Analogue Trunks 1

Quick question on compatibility of analogue line cards and software on Norstars (Compact / Compact Plus / Modular).

Which cards support CLI, NTBB30-AF / NTBB30AAAA only? Does a compact plus need to run a minimum of version 4 software?

I need to show calling CLI on digital extensions, will be using BT analogue lines with caller display enabled.

Does a 616 support CLI?

It sounds like you are using european equipment. Yes the CICS and MICS support Caller ID. Do your Trunk Cards Say CI? In black letters at the top or do they say DS. If they say CI and you have service from Telco you are good to go. If you have a 616 KSU you are going to need a C6 I belive it is called (very hare to track down Ties into the block with a 25 pair and station port), but the Caller Id on a 616 NT5B01 is very antiquated, if you are looking for good working caller ID get a CICS with 7.0 and CID cards.

Tried on a 5.1 release with CI global trunk cards in CICS, not getting anywhere. I've set up Terminals&Extns > Call Services > Auto Call Info > and set Caller ID to yes for trunk, and also tried Auto Called ID with yes and no. 1st Display is set to Number. Not working! Am I missing something, or do I just need to try a V7 +?

Did you check the dip switch settings for your country on the white paper that comes with the card. I looked to see if I had any spares, I dont see any laying around. Also the line has to be ringing on the set.

Unfortunatley, as it's second hand I don't have the white paper. The lines are ringing on the set (ringing and flashing line key), nothing shows at all on the display until answered.
