I need some advice concerning CLI presentation, at present my company (a contact centre in the UK) gives out 2 different CLI’s. All are phones are set to present one CLI at the phone provider level (Number X) and we can override this on the definity using “change isdn public-unknown-numbering” we do this on the general office phone and present another number (Number Y) however as we do work for a number of different companies we need to present different CLI’s of each company so that if a person we have called rings the CLI they are greeted with a message stating who we called on behalf of, this is fine for business to business calls as I just enter another number in “change isdn public-unknown-numbering”, this gets more complex when we have to make business to consumer calls as the CLI that we present needs to be a free phone number and entering this number in “change isdn public-unknown-numbering” doesn’t show the free phone number and I don’t know how to get around this, I presume that I will have to get it sorted out by our line provider but I’m not sure of what service I will need to ask for, or if I can manage it on our definity it would be even better.

Any advice will be appreciated.

Thanks

Dave

You could ask your service provider to put an 0800number on your cct cli and have the 0800 number routed back into the call center when it's called
