Where do we begin. We are a regional ISP with leased POPS nationwide. Very interested in starting the investigative process to become a CLEC. Where is a good place to start looking for info?

First, have you checked with your local and state licencing <br>
departments? They have alot of info on exactly what you need to do to register as a CLEC. Have you thought of an SS7 solution as well as terminating equipment?

I have a lawyer working the issue for me in Nebraska (we are in Omaha and butt up against Council Bluffs IA). We are attacking one state at a time. I have narrowed down to 2 VOIP vendors. My big problem is who to call to get dial tone. We are talking with 2 companies and it is going REAL-REAL slow.<br>
