clearing type ahead

I recently starting using the "type ahead" feature in my FMP ver 8.0. Unfortunetly, there are a lot of typos in the type ahead memory - how do I clear this memory so I can input accurate data.

I guessing a bit here but I believe that the type ahead list comes from values that already exist in the field. The only way I know of to fix this would be to fix the values in the existing records. This sounds like a lot of work but with Filemaker's ability to REPLACE FIELD CONTENTS the task shouldn't be too bad. I will caution however that there is no UNDO for that command so if you make a mistake it could be a big one.

Thanks Striker - with over a 1000 records (YTD) I think it would be more of a task than I want to take on. I think what I will do when time permits is make an enormous IF statement that would link a key field to the related customer and location fields. In the long run that will save a lot of keys strokes...
