Clearing the DNS cache on our domain?

I'm having a bit of a problem with our cache or maybe it's something more complex, which I am not sure but here it goes.

Our domain is hosted with an offsite company and shows up as which is correct when typed outside of our company network; however, when we type up within our internal network it shows up as
I was told that I would need to clear the cache which I believe I have done correctly or maybe this is the wrong solution. Can someone give me some guidance on this? Any help is greatly appreciated.
 
There are a couple of possibilities why this is happening:

1. Assuming you are using an internal DNS server, it has an incorrect record for Try an 'nslookup and report results.

2. You have an incorrect entry in your local hosts file. Open it up in a text editor, and see if there is an entry for
 
I added our company's IP and the host name in the HOSTS file but I still have the same problem. I'm not too familiar with nslookup or which record I would need to modify in DNS. Would this be an A record?
