We did our yearly stock take Sunday, took quite a bit however, in the end uploading the information to our server it was taking a bit longer than usual, seeing that it wasn't suppose to take so long we, cut it off in the middle of it and tried it again, i felt that is where we went wrong.

tried it again and it went through but at POS no item couldn't be cashed, and a pop up would display cycle count needs to be cleared.

No we had our tech guys come over and help with the situation and eventually fixed it, but im kinda curious as to what they did.

Can anybody shed some light on this?

They cleared the field cntflg in icilocXX table.

Thanks edgar,

But how do they go about doing it?
Is it really complicated?

Need visual Fox Pro 5.0. or higher .Use this metohod only to access data. For program changes you need the appropiate Fox Pro version.

At the command window:
*--Open the required table icilocxx.dbf and its proper
*-location. For Example

USE g:\pro\icdata\icilocxx.dbf shared

*-- this command will clear ALL cycle counts( field name: cntflag)
REPLACE all cntflag with " "

*--close table
USE

If you need to clear ONLY certain items, it gets more complicated. You will need to apply filters and link tables.
