I have an issue that I am hoping to resolve. I have a database with an entry form. When I open the form, certain data is prepoulated. I have three command buttons, "Add REcord", "Close Form" and "Close App". If any of the fields are populated and I hit "Close Form" or "Close App" the data is saved on a line in the database, even though the "Add Record" button is not hit. I only want the data to hit the database when the "Add Record" button is clicked. DO I need to put in code to clear the form and database when the "Close Form" or "Close App" are chosen? I have logic within the "Add Record" command to ensure all of the appropriate fields are entered before the record is updated.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
