Clear Block problem

Hello

In Master-Deatil From
In Master I have one field having LOV and this field has relation with Detail.
So my requirement is that in query when i change the the value of this field in Master using LOV the Detail records should get clear

MASTER Block

|Item|------>whenever value changes

DETAIL Block------->Block should get clear

|Orderid| |order Date|

I am not sure it can be done easily. But if you change an item value by using LOV then detail block is populated by default - see "Coordination property" in the Forms on-line help and how it can be modified.

Hi,
Write a When-Validate-item on the item with LOV.
Check if the Value is chnaged.For this you will have to Store the Old Value in some Global variable at the time when list was invoked(key-listval trigger).
Then if the value is chnaged call procedure
Clear_All_Master_Details(Created by Forms automatically in case of Master Detail forms).

But rememeber in order to make this happen user must tab out of the feild with the List attached to it as when-validate-trigger will fire then only.
