I have searched up and down... I must be looking for the wrong thing.

I have an ad that will run every other issue in our paper. It has about 30 images of which about 20 will change ad to ad. I get don't get the images in order and don't want old images to get left in.

I want to keep the frames for the images but clear the images??

How on earth can I do this in InDesign?? Any thoughts??

Thanks...

I could rebuild, but if I don't need to that would be nice.

Click on the image with Direct Selection tool (white arrow) and hit delete.

I'm not sure if you can. One thing I've found with ID that's very different from Quark is the frames. They're not like the old picture boxes.

Could you just open the old ad and then do a 'save as'? You could even do a 'save as' for each month - maybe for 6 months at a time and name them appropriately.

...would a master page setup help you out?

...with a copy of your previous indesign file you could also update the old links with the new ones you require...

Thanks... I knew it would be just so simple...

And yes the master page is were I am going with this...

I just didn't want to rebuild, now I don't need to.

Thanks for the posts...
