I am in the process of cleaning up my music library. It's over 60Gb and I would like to have it all in a uniform state.
I am not worried about editing the individual MP3 file names and ID3 tags, because I can edit those using iTunes or another program called MP3TagTools.
What I am having trouble with is cleaning up the file names of the folders which contain these MP3s.
The file names are all mostly in lowercase. I would like to have the first letter of every word in the file name be uppercase. I have been doing this manually, but it is slow and tedious. I wish there was a way of highlighting a bunch of files, right clicking and it saying "Clean Up File Names" Presto. Done. All the file names keep the individual text just with a standardized, uniform format.
For Example...
Before
X rolling stones- greatest hits
X Johnny cash- Lake of Fire
X JOHN DENVER- SILLY BOOGIE
After
X Rolling Stones- Greatest Hits
X Gary Newman- Lake Of Fire
X John Denver- Silly Boogie
Thought I'd ask...
