Dont know if this is the right place but I am looking for some tool or tools that can clean the PCs in our platform
on a schedule.
Any ideas would be great
Thanks

Alternatively ad-aware and spybot do a different type of cleaning, but really I don't think this is the correct forum for this, but don't really know what to suggest is the correct one.

For harebrain's type of cleaning though I would add a can of compressed air, it works wonders for cleaning the innards of dust covered cases.

Thanks ... and good one...harebrain
I'm Sicilian so for me it Duct tape and a shovel
Ad Aware seems good just dint know if it could be scheduled
Thanks

Only two things you need are:

Duck Tape (better than duct tape [smile] ) - if it moves and it shouldn't, use duck tape.

WD-40 - if it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40.

Nice :)
But it really is "Duct Tape" it is used for taping duct's in construction thats where it originated
I am all about the WD-40

From
[tt]Is it Duct or Duck? We don’t want you to be confused, so we will explain. The first name for Duct Tape was DUCK. During World War II the U.S. Military needed a waterproof tape to keep the moisture out of ammunition cases. So, they enlisted the Johnson and Johnson Permacel Division to manufacture the tape. Because it was waterproof, everyone referred to it as “duck” tape (like water off a duck’s back). Military personnel discovered that the tape was good for lots more than keeping out water. They used it for Jeep repair, fixing stuff on their guns, strapping equipment to their clothing... the list is endless.

After the War, the housing industry was booming and someone discovered that the tape was great for joining the heating and air conditioning duct work. So, the color was changed from army green to the silvery color we are familiar with today and people started to refer to it as “duct tape*.” Therefore, either name is appropriate.[/tt]

Duck tape is a brand name, too. Duck Tape brand duct tape by Duck Products.

To return to the original question, is this the right forum for this?

(Running and DUCKing!) :)

Not unless you are talking about deploying it over the next 5 years, using technology that probably hasn't been invented yet ;)

Thanks for that, it's always good to know these things :)

Probably not the correct forum, but here's another vote for Window Washer. I use it in web development work to make *absolutely* sure the browser cache is cleared.
