Clean registry?

How can you clean obselete entires in your registry to keep it in tip top shape? sorry about the vague entry but i think the question in its entirity is self explanatory

Howdy:

Try going to tucows.com or downloads.com and doing a search for Registry Cleaners.. Run it and let the program filter out the un-needed Registry items..

be sure to backup your registry though, as not all registry cleaning programs are equal :)
