clean export to excel 1

i know this sounds like something trivial, and the solution is probably staring at me, but what is the secret to getting a report to export to excel without 4 or 5 lines in between each detail section?

You can try this:

Select: File, Print, Export. Export as Excel 8.0 Extended. On the Format Options Popup, check the Tabular Format radio button.

It worked for me.

it jumbled things up a bit, but that may be caused by fields and their titles not being exactly the same width... ill have to play with it to find out...

either way that is already a vast improvement!!!
