it doesn`t last long the clcob card on ldk 300....in a matter of months there is always broken port....is there any chance that the analog line does the effect or the vmib/aa? really cost my client a lot....needs some advice on this...thanks

Please be more specific with your description of your issue.
If proper grounded, boards in the ipLDK-300 last for many years.

Best is to use ISDN and VMIB afor AA.

sorry about that dok...ok ill try to suggest your recommendation....thanks

hey dok i look on company file that the one they been sell
(ldk 300) the impedance of this is 300ohms only compare to the type approval here in the philippines which is 600ohms....since the CO voltage have a standard 48v supply to all subscriber,is there any relevance?

Hi ldk300

This question should be put to your local dealer, because he should have aproved these ISDN (BRI/PRI) boards before you can install.

hey dok even we suggest the right specification they didnt listen to the technician here.....might as well ignore everything....because they think, they think they are the best on it....by the way the pabx system originally came from korean and the user is korean also....

OK.
Next step is to compare the ipLDK-300 with other system that you use in the Philipines.
And also compare the national telephone setup and regulations to other countries.
We have had some discussions in this forum where users from Africa had to use the settings from England (country code in PGM100), and other countries had to use the settings for Denmark, Europe to have the best performance.
If you will stay with analogue line, I would use the standard CLOB or CLOB8. CLOB8 can be strapped to both 300 and 600 Ohms.

OK.

I asked around. If your CLCOB board breaks down it can be a matter of bad grounding and bad protection against lightning. Make sure that 3¤ copper lead is connected to a grounds lead and also to the cabinet of the ipLDK-300.

Lightning protection is made by inserting a kind of metal casette in front of your leads in the MDF (Multi Distribution Frame or Comms room).
The lightning protection box has small gas cells, and when your public CO lines are hit by lightning the gas will be electrical conductive and send the power of the lightning to ground. (Your Lightning protection boxes need to be grounded also). This setup will save you a lot of troubles if lightning often takes place in yor area.
