We have recently upgraded from opt 11 rls 23 to succesion 1000 4.5. All of our analog phones have been converted to CLASS telephones. Can anyone give us some info on the differences? Cannot build new the same way could previously MWI does not work. Have not found any documentation.

500 500/2500 telephone set data block
500 M 500/2500 Model telephone set data block
for Small System and Succession 1000.

Are you using 500M for TYPE prompt or 500?

Nice... CLASS telephones are used in conjuntion with class cards to provide CLID information to an analog phone. You might have a look at the Software Features Guide and read up on CLASS sets. It sounds like to me that the order was incorrectly placed as analog should not update to class unless that is what you wanted.

thank you for the reply all. we are using 500 at the type prompt and the original analog line cards. with the info you have provided sounds like yes the order was incorrectly placed. do class cards have to be used in conjunction to provide all features such as mwi on the analog phones?

Sorry if I gave you the wrong info Deano48. I get more than 1 star in a week and I think I can answer all questions, even stuff i don't know... lol

Have a good weekend all!

To get CLID on a 500 type phone with a display, you must have a CLASS line card , regular 500 line cards won't work.
