I am new to VB 2008, I have a class project that I created and added a reference to the dll from a different windows app project. I made an exe file, installed it and everything work as hoped.

I went back to the class project and made changes and copied the newly compiled dll to the reference path of the old dll and the app doesn't change (keeps the old functionality).

Please help get me pointed in the right direction?

Hi BBBDaddy,

I am not sure if this will solve your problem, it's been a while since I last looked at this.. But you could try going into Visual Studio, in the solution pane right click over the dll and click on update (or something similarly worded!). Then recompile your solution.

Hope it helps.
