I have symposium express call center. I log in as sysadmin and I would like to make a couple changes to access classes. However all the name on the classes are configured to only view. Where am I able to change "access classes" to edit instead of view?
There are 4 groups set up and all of them are either view or none.Where do I change this?

I believe Express limits you to the pre-defined classes that come with the system. In other words, you cannot create new access classes with Express.

If you are not able to create new classes, can you at least modify the existing classes that are set up. I guess what makes no sense to me is that supervisor class is set with more options that a senior supervisor, so somehow this had to have been modified at one time, and modification for class is set to view only. I need to know how this can be changed.

According to the tutorial it shows you how to do it, but just unable to do it.
Thanks for the response.

I am logged in as sysadmin and that option is greyed out. If I look at the other 3 classes they are either set to non and I do not have the option of changing it anywhere. I just assumed I would have access to this as a sysadmin login.

From the Install NTP:

Four predefined access
classes: system administrator,
customer administrator,
supervisors, and senior
supervisor. System
administrators and customer
administrators can create
additional supervisor and
senior supervisor user types.
Only one customer
administrator logon ID.

Jeff,

I use SECC 4.2, and I should be able to make changes under sysadmin or custadmin, however it looks like somebody made so you can not make any changes.
When I go to advance functions/user administration/Access classes I am able to see four classes:
1.admingroup, 2.call center admin, 3 senior supervisor, and 4. supervisor.
if I click on either one the four classes and I go to access tab (access class level o access is set to view or none in all four classes). This being like that, I am unable to make changes for either of the classes.
You mention the install NTP, is that SECC software?

Please help! Thanks

They are predefined by Nortel you cannot change them - try creating a new one.

I wanted to created a new one, but that part is greyed out. I do not have that option.
