Clarion 6.3 under windows 7 64 bits

Hi everybody, happy new year and my best wishes for you and your families.

I can't run clarion 6.3 on a windows 7 64 bits home premium laptop.. is there need of some extra configuration, or maybe a patch? o simply is not posible on this version of windows?

Hi!

The C6 IDE is 16-bit and will NOT run directly on a 64-bit OS.

Since Win 7 Home Premium does not have a license for XP Mode, you need to create a XP Virtual machine using the free Virtual Box or purchase the VMWare Workstation 7. You can then use Clarion 6.3 inside the Virtual XP machine normally.
