Hello, I am using one of tyour threads to respond to your responce. When you said 'REG_DWORD' what do you mean. Do I change HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\MemoryManagement\SecondLevelDataCache from 0 to 1024 or do I create another variable. This was about changing NT L2 cache fom default to what is on my mainboard. The registry does have that variable "HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\MemoryManagement\SecondLevelDataCache to 0" and it is '0' Sorry, for the bother.
Also, do you know if serial port 1 and 2 can be changed to 16 from 8.
