Citrix & PCL6 1

Has anybody else had any problems with citrix, using PCL6? I'm about to put this on the test enviornment here @ the red cross, and i need to know if anybody has had any issues with the protocal OTHER than with HP printers. If any of my fellow MIS/IT types have citrix running with pcl6 and are using richo afficio printers, please let me know your results.

Hi,

I've got a few Ricoh configured and they seem to work without issue.

I've had 2 servers reboot due to printing or that's what I blame it on but don't believe the Ricoh drivers to be any more unreliable than any other!

About how long is the time delay from the print queue, to actual printing? We've got some very 'testy' execs here who want things printed 'on the now', and i dont want to waste time testing this out if it takes 10 minutes for one document to print (stupid HP! stupid printers!!). Not really a crucial response necessary, but i would apprecaite any extra input... the more info the better

Hi,

Hmmm....Not sure, the Ricoh printers are used by people on the WAN and I've never had any issues with them or any calls regarding slow printing, unlike USB HP Printers with dialled in home users!

If I can, I'll do some tests Friday.
