Alright heres my problem...

I am currently workin on a cleints computer(win98) who is tryin to access her workplace at home on her personal computer using Citrix NFuse's web client annd has had some problems doing so..

Using IE6, IE5.5, IE5.01 , I logged on to the server with no problems, and all her applications would appear in her folder..yet when I attempted to open(use) one of the applications it would do a quick download to the temp folder..and do nothin after that.

So then I tryied the same steps on my personal computer (winME) and it failed the same way hers did. so then I attempted it on my old mutt(win98) and it worked just fine.. the min. I clicked on the application icons it would pop-up the same temp download and would launch a windows 2000 server icon and the remote application would open..

And after countless attempts to fix the problem I still come to deadends.

Anyone else seem to have alike problem with NFuse any feedback would be helpfull..

Try clearing the Temporary Internet files cache in IE.

Hope this helps CitrixEngineer@yahoo.co.uk

Check with the file types, if the file you are prompted to download is registered to be handled in the way you want.
(start the ica client)

Good luck!

Your issue sounds like the one described in Citrix Knowledge Base article CTX344893. Basically, it sounds like your web browser is losing track of how to handle the downloaded file.

To fix it, delete all instances of npican.dll, except under the Citrix folder. This dll will most likely be found under IE and Netscape's program directories.

In Regedit:

Delete the following key.
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Plugins\Extension\.ica

Hope this works for you...
