Hello,
We use citrix Server and all the drivers for Network printers are loaded and configured properly. Citrix Server host Siebel CRM Application.
All users can print without a problem from the application. Only annoyance is when an user login to Siebel application via citrix client
and try to print it, users see all the printers configured on the Citrix Server, by default users see the recent user's printer who logged into the system
on the selection window . They need to scroll and choose the printer which has their name to it.
Is there any way that we can have the user printer who would like to print, defaulted on the selection box rather than the recent user's printer name.

Any help much appreciated. Thank You.

It sounds as if you installed all ofthe network printers on the server and aren't having the clients autocreate their locally installed desktop. If this is the case, and you want your clients to only see their localy installed printers, you would probably be better served to enable printer autocreation in the ICA Connection Configuration then utilize the wtsuprn.inf file to map client printers to drivers installed on the server. Once you verify that your clients printers do autocreate, then you can delete all of the network printers off of your Citrix server. The drivers will still be installed on the server and be available when clients map using the wtsuprn.inf file.

See this article (CTX681954) on Citrix website to aid in any printer autocreation problems.

Hope this helps.

One option available to you is to give the everyone group manage documents rights to all printers and then give your specific users print rights to the prefered printers. This will remove all printers except the default from the view list on the dropdown. There's no need to worry about the manage documents option since they can't see the printers, they can't manage them.

Hope this helps.

Thank you all for your time and effort in answering my question. I will try your suggestions and let you know in time.
