Citrix Managment Console Logon on Active Directory

We recently migrated our Windows 2000 workgroup server to an existing Windows 2000 Active Directory farm and now we cannot login to the Citrix Management Console. I am using the same info as before for Citrix Server, User, Password and have tried the old and new "Domain" info. We are getting "Failed to logon to Farm" messages. I cannot get into CMC to make any changes.

Any ideas on what to do to resolve this?

When you say "migrated" did you run DCPromo on the Win2k server and promote it to a Domain Controller in the existing AD or did you join the server to the domain as a member server?

Also is this server that was migrated the Citrix server or is it a separate box? If it was previously not a member of a domain the Citrix administrator with rights to logon to the CMC would have been a local user account. Try logging on with this account and the name of the server's name in place of the domain name. This should if you joined the server to the domain as a member server.

If you ran DCPromo on the server this may not work, because the server no longer has local computer account information and is now a domain controller with domain credentials required to logon. I would still try the above suggestion if this is the case. I don't think it will, but you never know it might still work. I would then add a domain Citrix Administrator to the Citrix Admins list in the CMC if you get in.

Thanks for the reply. We ran Active Directory Wizard and added this server into an existing AD forest as a secondary server. I am assuming that there is no longer a "Local" account on the box and that is why I cant login to the CMC. I attempted to login to the CMC using all combinations of old machine name/user name/password combinations that I can think of as well as using new domain names as well. Is there any reg entries or ini files that I might be able to change or do I have to reinstall Citrix XPa over top of itself??
