"You do not have access to logon to this session." This is the error many of my remote users are receiving when they attempt to connect via a thin client to our central office.

I am running a 20 load balanced server farm with MetaFrame 1.8 install. There are not a lot of user that get this message. All of the servers are up to date as far as Microsoft patches and fixes.

This has been an ongoing problem for a while. I anyone have any suggestions I would truly appreciate it.

This is an error you get when the user is not in the group that has rights to the published app. (desktop or app.) check the rights and make sure they are a member.

It may also be that they do not have the logon locally user right. I use a global group called Citrix Users to grant the logon locally rights on all my Citrix servers. It works well for me.

There seems to be a security "fix" in one of the post SP4 patches - I haven't tracked it down yet, but solved it by deleting the ICA connection in Terminal Services Connection Manager and re-creating it using the default. Seems odd, but so far has worked for 100% of the machines I have worked on that have shown this symptom.

Hope this helps
