Hello-

I've configured a new Citrix server and will be migrating all the users to it. Can I simply input my existing license numbers into the new server and be ready to go?
Is there something that will prevent this from working while the current server is still up and running?

Thanks much for any info.

Kirk

You can add your existing licenses but you need to activate them from Citrix. If you upgraded from 1.8 to XP, you will need migration licenses.

... and if you've added the new server into the existing farm (depending on how old the original server was and what version of Citrix you're moving from/to) that the old server was on, then it's even simpler....

Awesome! Thanks.
Also, I'm not sure how the Feature Release 1 activation works.

Shouldn't a license number show up under the Feature Release section on the bottom half of the license screen?

Thanks much!

FR licenses shipped with your FR or you can request it from mycitrix.com.
