Does anyone know of any problems using citrix on windows xp home edition? One office user wants to buy XP Home for his home use but would be connecting to our server with NFuse classic 1.7. We use Metaframe XP FR2.
Thanks!

Windows XP Home does not have the functionality included in the Home edition, only in the Professional Edition.

Hi,

There shouldn't be any problem as long as the user would connect to your NFuse server with the ICA client.

:)

Just to confirm; When accessing an NFuse server, the Citrix Web Client can be automatically installed into the user's web browser by the NFuse machine. With IE, this would be the ActiveX component.

Accessing the MetaFrame server is thus dependent solely on the ICA client, not the Operating Sytem of the client machine.
