CISCOVPN CLIENT: Can't Surf Internet & Access network at same time 1

I am using a Cisco PIX 506E and I set up the VPN using the VPN Wizard. I am able to access network resources and shares and even open up OUTLOOK/EXCHANGE, but I am not able to surf the internet at the same time.

Can someone please tell me how I can surf the internet while being connected to the CISCO VPN CLIENT 4.05 (C).

You must enable split tunneling on the PIX.

Add this line to your vpngroup..

vpngroup <group> split-tunnel <ACLName>

Then add this ACL

access-list <ACLName> permit ip any <VPNPool Network> <netmask>

the strange thing is... when the pix is on the pubic ip address XX.233.191.98, I can only connect to it when im on another public ip address (our t-1) within the same subnet.. why is this?

if i try to vpn from home it doesnt work?
