Is this a free client from Cisco? If not, is there any recommended VPN Clients from the forum? Thanks again.

If you have a CCO account you and download it for free..

I know this sounds stupid, but do you have to have a contract to get the CCO account? If not, then how? Thanks.

I believe if you dont have a contract, you get "guest" privleges. My smartnet cost 75$ because I bought a 501. I guess that is the cheapest route if you want smartnet.

Thanks for the info, I'll look into it more with the company I bought the 501 from.

I would DEFINITELY recommend you get a SmartNet account for ONE of your 501's. This will give you extended warranty coverage on the 1 unit PLUS, and this is the REAL reason that *I* got it, you get access to ALL firmware upgrades, software upgrades, IOS versions, etc.! I bought 1 SmartNet account for a PIX501 and I now have access to IOS images for our 2620 routers too!

Cheers!
