New to Windows 7 and have not been able to access network resources when connected with Cisco VPN client 5.0.6. Everything installed fine and connects OK but will not comminucate with any resources. This same setup works perfectly on a XP Pro laptop. Both units run Symantec Endpoint Protection.

Thanks

do you logs say anything in the vpn client or vpn peer?

Are you running a 64bit install of win7?

If so the Cisco AnyConnect VPN client is what you need

This is usually caused by the vpn subnet set up int the vpn server being natted---it needs to be excluded from NAT.
