Hi All;

I have a CVPN 3060, which is configured to terminate PPTP connections.

VPN Concentrator Type: 3060
3000 Concentrator Series Version 4.0.Rel Mar 25 2003 15:45:12
Software Rev: Cisco Systems, Inc./VPN 3000 Concentrator Version 4.7.2.P Jul 30 RAM Size: 256 MB (Memory Status: Green)

The 3060 connects to a Radius server which authenticates the user without any issues, but when i have 2 users connecting from the same network i get the following message:

61 05/11/2009 15:28:49.900 SEV=4 PPTP/33 RPT=3 x.x.x.x
PPTP tunnel for peer x.x.x.x denied - already established

The x.x.x.x is a Soho broadband router address.

Could you please help me in solving this issue.

Many thanks

Lucio

what are the local/remote hosts avail for this tunnel? are these users coming from the same subnet?

Hi North323;

The remote host CVPN is on 78.x.x.219 / 255.255.240.0

The Internal network is 10.10.10.0 / 255.255.255.0 with a Lynksys router with IP Address of 78.x.x.221 / 255.255.240.0

I guess from a CVPN perpective, the request from the internal network 10.10.10.x user is seen a request from 78.x.x.221 which indeed is part of the same network.

Could this be the problem?

Thanks

Lucio

that very well could be...sometimes devices are funny about VPN's from their own network
