cisco talking to adtran

I am having issues getting a cisco catalyst 3750 talking to an adtran 1224ST and an Adtran 1534. I have set the Gigabit interfaces to trunk mode, as well as set the ip address of vlan 1 to one in that subnet (vlan 1 is our management vlan). I cannot ping/telnet into the switch. The interfaces are set for trunk mode on the adtrans. Any ideas as to what is going on? I did add the vlans into vtp, will that effect what is going on now?

OK Fixed this myself.

I forgot to set the encapsulation to dot1q.
