Hi,

I would like to know if the Cisco SDM can be configured on my 2620. My router is not a 2620XM it is just a 2600 series router.

Thanks in advance...

You can however install SDM on a computer, and then connect to a router and configure it with SDM. In this case, you would need to console into the router first and configure it as such...
router>en
router#conf t
router(config)#ip http server
router(config)#ip http authentication local
router(config)#username xxxx priv 15 password yyyy
router(config)#end
router#wr
Like that---substitute the "xxxx" for your own username, and substitute "yyyy" for your password.

Burt,

I will need to try that - I got all 2611s and 2610s here at work in the "Cisco Lab" and plenty of PCs :)

YOU ARE THE MAN !!!!!!!

I thought I had done that on my 2620's, but can't remember...it still may not be supported, so don't quote me on that. In fact, now that I think of it, I don't think I had any success, but it's been a while. Maybe Ill try tomorrow...

I was wrong---the message pops up saying that it's an unsupported router...

Burt,

Thanks anyway - sometimes that is how we all learn the "undocumented" stuff !
