Cisco RV042 latest cisco firmware and Remote VPN Phone latest 7.0 ?

I've read some threads that said it worked with the linksys rv042, tried to input the 'same' config without success... Anyone got this two working and would like to share the detailed config for the cisco and the vpn phone ?

I've checked the logs in the router it seems that the phone requires an sa lifetime of 432000, the maximum i can put on the router is 86400...

Tried to check on the vpn settings file for the phone and on the phone itself but it doesn't seem i can change that value on the phone...

Any ideas, or complete config for this setup ? )

You can change it on the phone but you need to set it in the 46xxsettings.txt file.

NVIKEP1LIFESEC 432000 Specifies the IKE SA lifetime in seconds. 3 to 8 ASCII
numeric digits. Valid values are: "600" through
"15552000".

Be carefull which one you change otherwise you have issues !!!!

I haven't seen that command in the 6xxsettings.txt or in the 46xxvpnsettings.readme.txt, the phone is a 5610, should i add the command eitherwise or it could be only for the 96xx phones ?

It is from the 9600 vpn admin doc so i am not sure but i think it should work.

I've tried to set up Linksys VPN routers with VPN phones but never had luck :-(((
