Hi,

I'm currently studying for my ccnp and have a question about PRI interfaces . i m aware that PRI can be a bundled 23/30 64k data channel link. But heres my question the Cisco interfaces ?? ,There a E1 interface with a rj45 connection and a serial with a DB60 which one is used to connect to the T1/E1 and why ??????? .

Thanks alot I cant seem to find a concise answer anywhere

Cheers

i have borrowed a Cisco 2600xm but I dont have a T1/E1 module .It more the interface and how they connect to the CSU/DSU that in theory that I wondering about .

Cheers...

It depends on whether the CSU/DSU is built in to the NM or if you're using an external CSU/DSU. With the built-in (NM-1-CT1 CSU) you have the RJ-45 connection. With the external, different connection, different cable (NM-1CT1).
