I want to set up a mail server on my internal network without using a DMZ, if possible. I have a couple different IP addresses that I can use, but I want to make sure how to set things up. I would also prefer to use the GUI interface for this, as someone else in my company uses the GUI and it seems most of the time that any changes I make using the command line disable the GUI.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have a similar setup. Just allow the necessary ports in through PIX. SMTP, POP3, IMAP, etc... and then forward to mail server.

Though I used the CLI and not the GUI. Some People swear by the GUI and some by the CLI. Your choice. The GUI should not be disabled by your using the CLI. The GUI sometimes doesn't clean up changes made. You may have to go into the CLI to change.

Though I am currently dealing with an issue of changes that wont undo from the CLI.

So I set up an inbound message to allow traffic from all outside addresses to the network address on the inside, and I set up, what, a static route from the outside IP address that I have to the inside network address? And that's all?
