cisco multilink input errors serials are error free

Has anyone seen this before? Can't get direct answer from Cisco.

2 serial interface are running error free (even tested to csu to verify). But seeing increasing input errors on the multilink interface. Thanks.

Do physical interfaces increment counters at all when they're members of a multilink? I don't have any multilink interfaces at my current job, and I can't remember if that's the case...

How is the clocking setup on the T1 controllers? What kind of CSUs are you using?

Hi, no, the physical interfaces never increment errors, even when pulled out of the multilink.

Clocking - controller 0/1/0 set to line primary
controller 0/1/1 set to internal
(have tried multiple settings, no change....)

Hardware - VWIC-2MFT-T1 (2)

IOS - Version 12.4(15)

Seeing this on 10-15 routers. Appears code related but like I said earlier, nothing from Cisco yet.

Try these two lines of config.

no network-clock-participate wic 0
no network-clock-participate wic 1

This will put each T1 in there own clocking domain. Then set all the T1s to line for timing.

I think this was the fix. Will check my old TAC case when get back to work next week.

Thinking about this more try setting both T1s to line independent clocking.
