What type of module do I need to run a 3Mb IMA on a Cisco Router? Will a VWIC-2MFT-T1 work?

Thanks,

DC

No, that will not work. You need at least a 4-port ATM IMA card. The part number is NM-4T1-IMA=.

HTH,
John

Hmm I think I disagree (sorry jneiberger).

If you order a AIM-ATM-4T1, what you get is a kit that includes:

AIM-ATM (the AIM card)
and
2*VWIC-2MFT-T1 (the interfaces)

So if you already have the AIM card, you could feasibly use your existing VWIC-2MFT-T1, bond them and create the 3mb pipe you're looking for.

Don't apologize. :) I didn't realize that the VWIC's could do ATM at all. I've never worked with the AIM-ATM so I didn't even think about it.
