Cisco DID PRI tandem through OPT 81 DID PRI 1

WE have a Cisco Call Manager sending calls (9xxxxxxx) to our Opt 81 rls 25.30 and want them to go out the local DID PRI. The calls hit the Opt 81 and go straight to VM. WE can see all the digits on the DCH coming from the Cisco. If you are on a trunk you can transfer a call out another trunk route no problem. This is not QSIG and we don't have that option.
Any ideas?

Are you certain it's Voice Mail and not an Intercept RAN?

Is the NCOS of the TIE trunks between the Cisco and the PBX high enough to place a call?

Yes, it goes to the pilot dn of VM and the NCOS is set high enough.

It is a new setup. I will get some programming as soon as I can.

You say you see all the digits, does that include the leading "9" the PBX will need to route the calls to the Telco? It sounds like you are not sending the 9 and the PBX is interpreting the next several numbers as a number that somehow needs to end up in vmail.

check the ncos of the trunk.. i dial 9+ from the cisco, the tie trunk has to have an ncos high enough to allow that call

we have almost the same setup here.. i built the trunks as ncos 3, that allows local and prompts for auth code for ld.. so all the cisco users need an auth code for ld..

It is receiving the 9 and the number from the Cisco and the trunks are at NCOS 3 here also which should alow the calls.

Something is common between the DN of Mail the the digits required to place an outgoing call.

For example, I am in NPA 414
What if my Mail DN was 1414

Can you think of any similarities in your scenario?

Your NCOS is pretty low!

The NCOS of an outbound trunk is irrelevant, since it does not ever place calls - it takes the calls.

The NCOS of the Cisco trunk (NCOS 3) is placing the call over the outbound trunk.

Now, if the poster had the trunks routes mixed up...then there might be an issue.

It seems like I read somewhere that when you are tandeming like this the DSEL on both trunk routes need to match. I would change the DSEL on Route 20 from VOD to 3VCE to match the DSEL on Route 21.

Also, do you have the Nortel as NET on the d-channel and the Cisco as USER?

Since the inbound calls from the Cisco are on a DID will the opt 81 look at more digits then what is defined by LDN0? Will it even look at the whole digit string to pass it on out the outbound circuit?

Good point - I don't know for sure. Try changing the Cisco route to TIE maybe?
