Dear all
I installed an IP trunk between Avaya Media Server S8720 (CM3.1) and Cisco Call Manager Express 4.3.
the IP trunk is working properly.
I configured the Cisco CM as SIP Server also.
I can register the SIP Server from any client.
I can call from SIP client to Avaya Stations without problems.
The problem is: when i make call from Avaya station to Cisco SIP client, it rings but nothing established when i answer the call (the Client still rings), and the Avaya Station still ring for 3 times then disconnected.

Any idea please?

Check your network region ports. Ensure the range goes to 65535 - change ip-network-region x. Also make sure the codec is matched on both sides. Do a trace on the trunk group and station to see if you have an issue there. Add g.729 to codec values for the network region you're talking to. Make sure you define the calls from one region to another in the ip-network-region (second page). If you are crossing network regions, that must be defined manually. To trace, list trace station xxxx and/or list trace tac xxxx.
