Cisco Catalyst Express 500

Hello all,

I have a cisco switch catalyst express 500, and have some problems with it.

First, the Web GUI is extremely slow. I ran a script (CE500_New) found on cisco website to fix the problem, but it didn't work...

Second, and most annoying, the switch reboots itself 1-2 times per day... The alert log doesn't point any problems. After each reboot, I can access the GUI for a few hours, and suddenly, the GUI won't open anymore, and after a while, the switch reboots...

If someone already had this problem, I would be grateful for any comments...

i may be sounding like a bit of a smart ass here, but the best way to fix those switches is to throw them away.

I hate all Uppercase... I don't want my groups to seem angry at me all the time! =)

I have had similar experiences with these switches and ended up replacing them. Had a couple of them completely bricked for no apparent reason.
