Hello, I am having an odd time with our Auto Attendant (on Unity?).
We have a DID range of 25XX. With internal extensions of 22XX as well.

Here is the weird thing; The Auto Attendant (on Unity?) will only send calls to extensions in the 25XX range and not the 22XX range. Also it will not send out to 2560, which is sent out to an Asterisk PBX.

I am kind of a newb when it comes to this can someone give me a hand?

We have an Cisco Call Manager (4.0)(SR2a)
With Unity 4.0
And IPCC Express 3.5(SR3)

Thanks in Advance,

-Mesa

Unity can only forward to Extensions that have Unity Mailboxes.

Thanks! that just helped me out a lot. I thought I had problems with call routing or something on that order.

You can create an internet type of subscriber (has no Exchange message store) and name it something like NOVMxxxx (No Voice Mail + extension number) to get past this limitation. Callers will then be able to transfer via Unity because the NOVM number is now part of the directory.

This might not be the best solution - but it WILL work.
