Interesting information. I think it's a shame their dropping multicast (I have a particular interest in that area atm), I wonder if it's going somewhere else or just dropped completely.

TSHOOT is a good move and sounds like an interesting take.

I've been holding off doing too much on my CCNP due to the changes being planned (and lack of time), I can start nosing around it again now :).

Think I'm glad I finished mine about the time it changed the last time. I'm with you on multicast, wonder if it will be added into part of the CCVP courses. Would seem like a good fit there.

Doggoneit. I have been studying really hard for my first CCNP test, and now they change all the rules...........

Well, at least I can throw away three or four tons of books...... just kidding.......

I wouldn't throw it all away. If you are ready, you can always take the exam. I didn't see anything that says the test wouldn't still be valid for the normal 3 years. Plus I do think Cisco does a good job of setting up the path incase you are already mid-way through the cert:

I'm sorry, I was being silly. Looking at their website, this is going to actually work in my favor. I'm planning on taking the BSCI, the BCMSN, and instead of the ONT and ISCW, I'll take the TSHOOT now. I'm about ready to take the BSCI, just need a little more time on the routers.

Anyone knows how much would the TSHOOT exam would be? ONT and ISCW cost $150 each so it would be a big savings if it would cost $150 also.

Im planning on taking BSCI -> BCMSN -> TSHOOT.

Regards,

Found the answer to my question. Its $200 per exam.
