Cisco Analog Modem Config

I am having problems configuring my AMs. I created a Modemcap and assigned to the lines but the config is not changing. What am I doing wrong?
 
Yes, I have the *w at the end of my string.

At&f$b1200&co&doe0q1*w
 
try a reverse telnet session to the modem then write
AT if the modemes working proper u have to recieve in the row
OK
otherwise checkmodems configuration in case it is external
also try to use the command MODEM AUTO CONFIGURE in line config mode
