Hello community,

I am just wondering if I am doing right thing and how actually I should do it. I hope someone will be able to guide me towards proper solution and documentation for it.

We have two office in two different countries.

Location A has Cisco router 2851connected to the backbone and public internet.
Cisco 2851 is running: Cisco IOS Software, 2800 Software (C2800NM-IPBASE-M), Version 12.4(3d), RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc3)

Location B has Cisco router 871 which is with private IP on it's FE4 connected via switch to ADSL Intracom Jetspeed modem/router and going out to Internet. Cisco 871 is running: Cisco IOS Software, C870 Software (C870-ADVIPSERVICESK9-M), Version 12.4(15)T4,
RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc2)

We are trying to establish VPN in between these two routers.
We have been trying to create VPDN - but this seems not to be correct option.

Any suggestion which path to follow and configuration samples - guides?

thank you in advance.

you'll either use a traditional VPN setup with crypto maps/crypto acl's or use SVTI's

For the traditional way using crypto maps:

For using SVTI's:

Problem is that router 2851 is running IPBASE image, so no crypto ... and we have to use it as is ...
