I have a 837 48mb and its running low on memory all the time with the IOS i`m using can the memory be upgradedc ?

Well according to that link you posted, the DRAM is upgradeable:

Default DRAM* Memory 64 MB
Maximum DRAM Memory 80 MB

That applies for the 837 model.

yes i think there are two 837s one with 48mb and one with 64mb default but i carn`t find the mem part for upgrading

What are you looking for exactly? the part number? or the place to plug the memory in the board?

i want to know if mine can be upgraded any more it has a 32mb built in and a 16mb upgrade but can i replace the 16mb with somthing else

Then, hope this helps:

Hi

There are actually 3 hardware versions of the 837 router. One has 32MB on board, one has 48MB on board and the newest one has 64MB on board. Each version can only accept a 16MB DIMM so depending on which one you have the maximum memory is either 48MB, 64MB or 80MB.

I looked into this a while ago and found out I have the oldest one with 32MB on board and added a 16MB DIMM to take me to a maximum of 48MB.
