Maybe silly (I know the if it ain't broke don't fix it rule), but my 837 is on an older IOS. She also only (currently) has 12MB Flash.
Question 1; what are the pitfalls to watch if I go from c837-k9o3y6-mz.123-2.XE4.bin to c837-k9o3sy6-mz.124-12.bin (The latest one I can find as my cisco acct is not of sufficient level to get direct).
Question2; I've found DRAM and FLASH on ebay for this router ($20) to take it from 64/12 to 80/24. If I get this I could go with the most recent IOS (requires 16MB Flash) (assuming I can find the image somewhere). Am I spending money for nothing here? (I am thinking later in the year to go and get a 877 with Wireless inbuilt)
Thanks for tolerating a few newbie questions guys
