Hi,

I have an issue with our cisco 775 ISDN routers regarding timeout.

The routers are set to idle out after 2 minutes. The problem is that regardless of what traffic is going accross the line it always disconnects after 2 minutes.

I have adjusted the timeout threshold both up and down to no avail.

The connection is used for citrix with a minimal amount of screen change i.e. a minimal amout of traffic generated.

The router at the central site is a 1720, It's timeout has been changed yet the 775's idletime takes precedence.

I would be most grateful of any support you could offer.

Many thanks in advance

Jason Carr

The ISDN line is not unmetered. Wouldn`t this command make the line permanent ?

no i would not think so. To set permanent you need to type this

set 1 pe on
set 2 pe on Jeter@LasVegas.com
