Cisco 5505 Fiber Module Question

hi

i currently have 3 cisco 5505 switches and a cisco 5002 with a fiber module as well when i plug them together i only get a link lite on the 5002. all the patch cords are made by tyco and are all brand new. all the modules are are enabled. would anybody be able to help me out. only the fiber modules on the 5505's are not working

sounds like you need to upgrade your CatOS code.. the level you're running might not support that module..

do a 'show module' see if they're OK status'ed

Post the actual module number and we can look up the minimum code needed , most fiber modules neded at least 4.5.X code.

Are you sure both ends are 10 meg fiber only ? You can have a 10 meg 5011 card and plug it into a 100 meg fiber card on the other end and have it work . Do a show mod on both switches and make sure they are both 10 meg only fiber cards...

here is what i have done so far i have hooked it up to a fiber adaptor 10/100 and didn't get anything i also beleive that i had hooked it in to one of the other switches i have and still no luck
