I have two cisco 4000 routers but one routers os is lost
how i can restore the os pls help asap. thanks

Hi,
Get onto the Router with the working IOS, and get a copy of the FLASH onto a TFTP (or FTP) server.

You need to setup a TFTP server in one of your LAN machines and make sure the router and the LAN pc has connectivity between each other.

On the router, issue
Router#copy flash tftp
(and give the IP of the tftp server and the image name)

This will upload a copy of your router IOS.

Then on the other router, trigger a break at boot time and
issue a ,
Rommon> copy tftp flash

This will download the flash file onto the router.

Check this out too.

Regards
Shivi
